BENEFITS OF THE WASTE ANNIHILATOR
THE WASTE ANNIHILATOR
Rapidly increasing Municipal Waste Disposal costs demand new solutions to reduce costs while meeting stringent environmental safety and quality standards. The “Waste Annihilator” provides a decisive advantage in the processing of waste to reduce volume and weight of waste normally disposed by simple land filling.

New Government Directives came into force on October 30th 2007 – Quote” –

BENEFITS OF THE WASTE     ANNIHILATOR
COMPETITION
Waste producers and Waste Management companies have to pre-process all Non-hazardous waste prior to land filling. These directives from the Department of the Environment aim to re-duce reliance on landfill as a waste management option and minimize environmental impact of landfill sites. To meet this directive; it is important that waste producers find better and more economical ways to manage their wastes.”

By integrating the value saved landfill space the recycled commodities, our concept crates a financially and environmentally sound program, which can easily be implemented at almost any landfill site or transfer station along with incineration and WTE plants. Waste Management operatives can avoid substantial costs associated with the installation of the Waste Annihilator.
Current methods of pre-treatment include:
Labor intensive sorting stations or MRF’s, when the waste has been sorted additional capital equipment is used to grind, shred, dry, reduce, compact, and process.

These machines such as Grinders, Ball Mills, Shredders, Dryers, and compactors require huge capital investment; small operatives cannot use these machines for various reasons, the main reason being capital investments and low profit margins. Larger companies are feeling the squeeze on resources by increased landfill taxes, transport costs and fuel costs.

Transfer Stations can profit from a 50% to 70% reduction in volume and a 20% to 25% reduction in weight by using the Re-cyclone. This alone is a huge benefit, to our knowledge there are no other processors available which can process unsorted waste, dry it, reduce it and eliminate both odor and bacteria in one operation and at less that $4.00 per ton based on an annual through-put of 200,000 tons a year!

Furthermore, by reducing most of the waste to a “Fine” or “Flock” the cost of landfill could be reduced by some 80%
For example:
A transfer station sorting 100 tons a day and putting 80 tons a day to landfill currently pays landfill fees of $30 to $120 per ton subject to the type of waste and landfill regulations. This equates to between $750,000 and $2,500,00 annually. By using the Waste Annihilator to reduce moisture, eliminate odor and bacteria, (moisture) and reduce volume, the savings on landfill tax and transportation can be as high as 80% or in this case between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000 per year.

Some of the Benefits of using the Waste Annihilator are listed on the following page.
  • The Waste Annihilator IS new technology com-pared to those that have been around for dozens of years.
  • The Waste Annihilator performs the work of several machines and operations in one.
  • Maintenance on the Waste Annihilator is extremely low at about $0.10 per ton (processing 100 tons a day)
  • Depending on the required particle size for which the machine is adjusted, the landfill space can be ex-tended from 200% to over 700%
  • Transportation and landfill costs savings are at least 50% and up to 80%.
  • Organic waste materials processed exits the Eliminator AS A COM-POST MATERIAL in minutes. If the processed material is put to windrows for between two and 4 weeks instead of the normal 19 weeks the savings in labor, time and energy could save in excess of 30%.
  • The Waste Annihilator has an operating life of over 25 years when maintained according to the factory manual
  • No Capital Costs required just the equivalent to Three Month’s Rental will see the Waste Annihilator installed for 3, 5 or 7 year full maintenance lease contract. (With an option to purchase at the end of the term.)
  • Only one moving part ensures no expensive repair bills, or long down time.
  • Rentals can be offset 100% against tax.
  • Construction and Demolition wastes can be processed saving the operators huge overhead on trans-port and backfilling etc.
  • Incinerators and WTE plants currently in the region of $120 per ton for pelletized feedstock. The Re-cyclone can turn MSW to a flock for less than $3.50 per ton. The flock can be fed directly into a gasification plant

These are just a few benefits the Waste Annihilator has to offer, well apart from meeting the latest
Governmental Directive of “Pre-Treatment of waste prior to landfill”
Oh Yes – it has no emissions.
